Peter Drucker talked about the Buggy Whip, and the challenge that you could have made a better buggy whip, but that would not have helped deal with the tremendous decline in the market for them, with the introduction of the car.
I feel the same is happening with GPS devices and I am surprised it has taken this long to be noticed. When I first saw the iPhone with a GPS inside (iPhone 3G), I thought GPS stocks would be good to short (2 1/2 years ago). I am surprised it has taken this long to be noticed.

The same thing seems to be happening with cameras, where the camera inside a smart phone has become good enough
